Replacement Ice Maker For The Whirlpool 4317943

This aftermarket ice maker is an exact replacement for the Whirlpool icemaker 4317943, without the extra harnesses. If your refrigerator does not have an ice maker now this is not what you need.

 

This icemaker can be used to replace ice makers on a majority of refrigerators in use today including Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Roper, Estate, Sub Zero, Sears, Maytag, Amana, Jenn Air, Magic Chef, Speed Queen, Admiral, Norge, Crosley, Kirkland and Kenmore 106.series refrigerators.

The best way to confirm that this ice maker will work for you is to remove your defective ice maker from the freezer section. Next remove the 4 wire wiring harness which plugs directly into the black plastic housing of your ice maker (this is the end of the wiring harness you will need to verify). Look directly into that wiring harness at the 4 metal prongs. If the prongs inside that rectangular wiring harness are flat, and they are the same as the picture shown above listed as connector, then this ice maker will work for you. If you see 4 metal prongs in the shape of circles inside this wiring harness then this ice maker will not work.
