This refrigerator ice maker 5303918277 comes with an extra wiring adapter and can be used on Side-by-Side and Top Freezer refrigerators manufactured prior to 2001 by Frigidaire, Gibson, White Westinghouse and Tappan.
This ice maker is not a replacement for the older Frigidaire refrigerators that have a "flex mold" or plastic tray automatic ice makers.
To remove the Frigidaire 5303918277 ice maker (after you have unplugged the refrigerator) simply loosen the two screws to the top left and lift it up. Sometimes there is an additional stainless steel bracket under the ice maker, if so remove that screw. Once you have the ice maker lifted up unplug the harness and remove it. When you install the replacement ice maker make sure that the fill nozzle is in position in the back.
