8318268 Dryer Heat Control Thermostat
Dryer Heat Control Thermostat 8318268, is used on Kenmore, Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Roper and other brand dryers.
It has a 120v anticipator heater built into the thermostat.
The anticipator heater is used when a lower temperature is selected on the dryer selector switch such as permanent press. Voltage is applied across the heater causing it to fool the control thermostat and cycle off sooner then normal reducing the drum temperature. |
